Rutherford Cross is delighted to partner with IMV Technologies to support their appointment of a Financial Controller.
Created in 1963 and based in L’Aigle, France, IMV Technologies is the World Leader in animal reproductive biotechnologies. The Group has a dominant position in both the bovine and swine segments from gametes harvesting, analysis, packaging, freezing to insemination. The IMV group also has a strong presence in aquaculture, equine and other markets.
Through its subsidiary Cryo Biosystems, IMV Technologies has also been present in the human reproduction and biobanking sector since 1987. Through its subsidiary IMV Imaging, it also provides a full systems integrator approach for imaging solutions for Veterinarians to provide enhanced health diagnostics for companion animals (primarily cats, dogs and horses).
In 2024, the Group achieved a turnover of €144m and double-digit EBITDA ratio. Since its creation, the Group has always experienced sustained growth and a high level of profitability. Based in France, with subsidiaries in 11 countries, 3 representation offices, and an extensive network of distributors in more than 120 countries, IMV Technologies generates 88% of its turnover outside France. The Group has eight production sites located in 5 countries and over 673 employees.
The growth ambition is strong, aiming for a turnover of €200m, and a continuously improved high level of profitability. To ensure its scalability and to strengthen its processes and organisation, the Group has initiated different transformation programmes.
The Financial Controller role with be focused on managing the financial shared services centre supporting two Imaging Business Lines. It will build on the IMV culture of continuous improvement by developing processes that drive financial efficiency, effectiveness, develop the data security and governance, and improve a high level of analytic and management control.
