Rutherford Cross is thrilled to be hosting a client football tournament to raise money for SAMH, the nation’s leading mental health charity. The event takes place the week following the Scotland v England World Cup Qualifier and will no doubt produce more Scottish goals than will be scored at Hampden. This will be an excellent opportunity for the finance departments of some of Scotland’s most prominent businesses to go toe to toe on the football pitch.
This is a great chance for finance teams to develop their team-bonding and channel their competitive spirit in the name of a worthy cause, whilst unwinding from the pressures of the office. Every year, SAMH provides over a million hours of support to people living with poor mental health. Every week, they work with around 4,000 individuals in over 60 services across Scotland and campaign for better mental health for the people of Scotland.
