Rutherford Cross is delighted to partner with ICAS to appoint a Head of Tax.
Founded in 1854, ICAS is the global professional membership organisation and business network for Chartered Accountants and also an educator, a regulator, an examiner and a professional awarding body.
ICAS’s members form a vibrant global community of finance and business professionals united by a commitment to ethical leadership. Educated, regulated and led to the highest standards, they transform business and support one another, for the greater good. ICAS strives to support, nurture and empower that community by delivering high-quality membership, connection and relevant and rigorous career-long learning.
ICAS is now looking to appoint a Head of Tax who will contribute primarily to the overarching purposes of member satisfaction and impactful policy in the public interest with particular emphasis on the tax implications for Owner Managed Businesses, Employment Taxes and VAT. This will be through focussed provision of technical resources and support to ICAS members in Practice and the wider membership community, while influencing and leading on policy development and representing ICAS in relevant stakeholder engagement activities.
This is a business-critical role at the heart of ICAS’s public interest remit. You will ensure ICAS continues to be a forward-looking, supportive professional body, championing high standards and integrity in tax, while staying closely attuned to the needs of members and the firms they represent.
If you are interested in the opportunity to shape the profession, raise ICAS’s profile and engage with key stakeholders, including the Scottish and UK Governments and the media, we would love to hear from you.
