The Opportunity
The UK Tax Controller will have responsibility for UK and overseas tax reporting and compliance, Group tax reporting and SoX compliance. The individual will provide tax advice and support to the Corporate Tax Department and wider TechnipFMC business.
The role has one direct report and reports into the UK Tax Manager.
Key interactions:
The role is an important contributor to the TechnipFMC Corporate Tax Department and wider finance function. It requires a clear understanding of the business strategy and key interfaces externally and internally which include:
- UK and Group Finance teams
- US Tax Accounting Team
- TechnipFMC Business and Operations
- HMRC and other external tax authorities
- External advisors
Main Accountabilities:
- UK tax compliance and reporting – CT, VAT, etc
- Group tax accounting/reporting and SoX compliance
- Overseas tax compliance and reporting
- Resolving overseas tax audits
- Group tax planning
- Providing tax support to Corporate Tax dept
- Provide tax advice and support to the business
- Assisting North Sea tendering activity
- Coaching and continuous development of the tax team
The Individual
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tax and / or accounting professional with extensive tax experience.
The individual will have:
- UK tax technical expertise
- UK corporation tax return preparation and submission experience
- Tax accounting expertise
Remuneration
Salary: £Competitive
Car allowance: £Competitive
Pension: 10% employer and employee contribution
