Rutherford Cross is working in partnership with a Big 4 firm in Ireland to assist them to recruit a Transfer Pricing Senior Manager for their team based in in Dublin.

Ireland is the third-largest island in Europe and is split into the Republic of Ireland and Northern Island, which is part of the United Kingdom. Ireland’s culture is world renowned, no matter where you are in the world you will undoubtedly find an Irish bar somewhere! From the stereotype of drinking Guiness to the friendly and welcoming people, Ireland is regarded as one of the Celtic ‘nations’ of Europe. Ireland can offer the bustling city of Dublin where there is always something to do, or many hills and ragged peninsulas for the outdoor and adventurous type. Ireland ranks among the wealthiest counties in the world in terms of GDP per capita and after joining the European Union in 1973, Ireland enacted a series of liberal economic policies that resulted in rapid economic growth until the global economic crash in 2008. Although still recovering from the economic crash, Ireland remains one of the world’s most prosperous nations with a shift from being predominantly agricultural driven to having more of a focus on high technology industries and services. Ireland has witnessed an increase in foreign investment and attracted several multinational corporations due to the low corporation tax rate, including Intel, Microsoft, Google and Facebook. The financial services industry also plays a large part in the Irish economy.

This opportunity is with a Big 4 firm and they are looking for a Transfer Pricing Senior Manager to join their team in Dublin. This opportunity comes at an exciting time as the market in Ireland has been growing steadily and as the country offers a favourable corporate tax system, investment from large multinational firms has increased therefore offering an interesting and world class client portfolio. Due to the global recession and the effect it had on the Irish economy, the scope of transfer pricing work is slightly less mature than the rest of Europe so this role will be exciting and challenging in the way that the successful person will have the technical ability to bring the transfer pricing work up to speed and continue to develop it as the global guidelines change. The successful person will also have strong business development skills. This opportunity therefore is exciting in the way that it is a developing and challenging role but has the advantage of being in a developed location. The ideal person will have excellent language skills and strong technical transfer pricing skills gained from a Big 4 environment. Strong motivations for moving to Dublin is also desirable.

Please note that in order to gain sponsorship to work in Ireland, you must hold a valid professional accountancy qualification to meet visa requirements.
