Rutherford Cross is currently assisting a large, international accounting firm with their search for a qualified Tax Professional to work within their private client team in Glasgow.
You will manage a diverse client portfolio of entrepreneurs, private equity and hedge fund principals, high profile partnerships, large landed estates and senior executives of large listed and private businesses. The team carries out the following work:
- Tax return compliance services
- Providing advice on residence and domicile issues
- Transaction and reorganisation advice
- Optimisation of wealth from a tax perspective, and estate and succession tax advice.
You will have an opportunity to work with an already established, sophisticated client base. This job will provide you with an excellent opportunity to build and expand your network and be instrumental in winning new business. Also, thanks to the global footprint of the firm, there is a high proportion of cross border tax work available and you will have the opportunity to develop / mentor other members of the team.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in UK partnership and personal tax compliance and advisory. You will have practical knowledge of private equity fund structures and UK domiciled individuals. The ideal candidate will be qualified (CA / Law qualification / CTA) or will have a breadth of knowledge which equates to a specialist tax qualification.
