Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a well-known, manufacturing business in East Lothian in order to appoint a Senior Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding business with excellent opportunities for progression.
Role Responsibilities:
- Management of AR, AP, Payroll and GL roles
- Application of sound financial processes and controls
- Production of monthly company and divisional management accounts
- Monthly HMRCE submissions
- Analysis and presentation of key financial information and reports
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are performed on a monthly basis
- Assistance with the preparation of year-end working papers for auditors and tax advisors
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Management Accountant /Assistant Finance Manager
- AAT, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables, V and H lookups etc.)
- Experience with Sage and MS ERP systems
- Strong communication skills
- Well organised
