Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnered with a boutique law firm looking to appoint a Senior Management Accountant in Edinburgh.

The Role

As a Senior Management Accountant, you'll work closely with the Financial Controller across various financial and operational domains:

• Handle financial accounting, including monthly management accounts and variance analysis
• Manage payroll and ensure compliance
• Oversee treasury and cash flow management
• Handle partner taxation and compliance matters
• Assist with system management and office operational tasks

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Qualified accountant or QBE
• Excellent service delivery to internal and external clients
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Advanced user of MS Excel
• Aptitude for learning and researching new efficiency and reporting software tools, e.g. Power BI, APIs
• Challenging ways of working, improvement and efficiency recommendations
