Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a large-scale organisation that is looking to add a Senior Group Financial Accountant to their team. This role offers a hybrid working pattern, a highly competitive salary, and the chance to grow and develop within an engaging team.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

• Provision of Financial Accounting support for all entities across the business and partner companies
• Responsible for the production of statutory financial statements for the business and partner companies ensuring consistency in accounting policy and application
• Provide technical guidance on accounting disclosure issues
• Provide oversight of the monthly financial close and production of month end accounts, ensuring an efficient well managed and continuously improved process
• Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts across the business, ensuring that they are reconciled on a regular basis throughout the year
• Support the production of external financial reporting, including statutory accounts, lender covenant compliance and all regulatory financial returns
• Responsibility for the production of consolidated financial accounting reports throughout the financial year

To be successful in this role you will be:

• Qualified Accountant with a recognised accounting body
• Proven experience in Statutory Reporting and Audit
• Experience managing a team
• Experience in building relationships between departments
• Detailed knowledge of financial regulation
