Rutherford Cross are working in partnership with a leading Chartered Accountancy firm based in the Channel Islands to find a Senior Audit Manager for their team in Guernsey or Jersey. The client portfolio will specialise in Insurance.
You will be managing an impressive portfolio of Insurance clients across Guernsey and Jersey, with occasional work in the UK and further afield, as well as leading, developing and managing a team of Qualified and Non-Qualified members of staff. Working closely with the firms’ values, the successful applicant will represent the firm in the market place, developing and sustaining relationships through expert advice and successful completion of audits. The future for this role will be dependent on the individual’s enthusiasm for the future of the firm and the performance against personal set objectives. The role will involve accounting compliance and reporting, assessing and servicing around climate change, sustainability and advisory. A key element will involve assessing the actuarial and risk management strategies of key clients.
Jersey and Guernsey are the 2 main Channel Islands. Still retaining their French and British influences and charms, it has developed as a location that offers similar amenities to that of a UK City. This role requires extensive Insurance experience as well as a professional Qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CPA. The right candidate will have worked within a large CA firm and have knowledge across IFRS and accounting in the insurance market. This role requires a minimum of 7 years within a leading global firm environment. Preference will be given to EU passport holders due to the strict visa guidelines on both islands.
