Senior Accounts Payable

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnering with a Global Manufacturing specialist looking to recruit a Senior Accounts Payable Administrator on an FTC for up to 6 months. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the Accounts Payable team, helping to develop the current team and ensure the department runs smoothly.

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring AP tasks are delivered, timely, effectively and efficiently
• Maintaining a high level of service to internal customers and external suppliers
• Representing the AP team in meetings / projects
• First point of escalation for AP team members – assisting with any queries
• Timely checking and accurate processing of invoices and payments
• Administrating and managing systems, supporting employee expense payments
• Interfacing with various internal departments and external suppliers to resolve any issues / queries
• Ensuring various team admin tasks are carried out and completed e.g. holiday spreadsheet, recurring cost listings, direct debit listing
• Performing other related / ad hoc projects as required and / or assigned

Experience:

• Previous supervisory experience
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
• Data entry skills
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to detail with large volumes of data / invoices
• High understanding of the end-to-end process of AP
