Rutherford Cross is pleased to be working in partnership with a hugely successful facilities management and construction services business in Glasgow to appoint a Management Accountant, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. The appointed individual will also have the opportunity to progress to Finance Manager within the first 18 months or so, provided they make an impact and develop an understanding of the business.

This role represents a fantastic opportunity for a recently qualified/part-qualified accountant to join a growing business in a broad management accounting role managing multiple entities. We are looking to engage with those with comparable experience in a Management Accounting position and possess strong excel skills. We are also looking for candidates with the strength of personality to manage non-finance stakeholders.

On offer is a salary of up to £45,000, in addition to a highly hybrid and flexible working pattern and a good benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation of the monthly accounts for 7 entities
• Key balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with statutory reporting
• Assist with the Audit
• Manage cash forecasting and control
