Management Accountant

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working in partnership with a fast-growing financial services specialist to appoint a Management Accountant. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various private equity accounts in a vibrant social culture, offering long-term progression opportunities. Key Duties Include:

• Prepare and discuss management accounts and forecasting for clients, discussing with them directly as required
• Coordinate with fund managers on investor capital calls and drawdowns
• Prepare financial reports and communication with stakeholders
• Prepare and work closely with stakeholders on Statutory Trust, Small Company, Limited Liability Partnership, and Limited Partnership accounts
• Review monthly bank reconciliations, client invoices, expense reports and payment authorisation prepared by an Assistant Accountant
• Prepare and submit VAT returns
• Oversee monthly bank reconciliations, client invoices, expense reports, and payment authorisations prepared by an Assistant Accountant
• Discuss with clients and auditors to ensure good governance and best practices for each administered fund
• Make sure procedures, practices, and systems are properly managed and developed to control the client side of the business and maintain thorough documentation for all systems

Experience Required:

• Qualified accountant
• Experience in preparing management accounts, collaborating with third parties for financial completeness
• Beneficial to have experience in financial services
• Software experience desirable in Excel, Word, Investran, and Sage Line 50
