Description
An excellent opportunity for part or recently qualified accountant with a working knowledge of Oracle. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for Cost Value Reports, Monthly overhead flash reporting and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
The role will involve:
Month end accounting
- Preparation of monthly overhead analysis including comparison to budget
- Assist in the collation of monthly contract CVRs (cost value reports)
- Assist in the preparation of the month end reporting pack
Financial ledgers
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and schedules
- Nominal account control accounts reconciliation
- Maintenance of intercompany accounts, posting of entries & agreement of balances with other group companies
- Review and maintenance of contract costing entries
- Investigation and clearance of Bank reconciliation items
Information provision
- Preparation of schedules to support the half year and full year financial statements
- Preparation of yearend tax analysis
- Response to ad hoc queries
