Description
Interim Senior Finance Analyst job with our client based in Glasgow for a 12 month period. This role will report directly to the Senior Finance Project Manager. The key responsibilities for this role are:
- Drive the implementation of a new module in the upgraded version of the ERP system
- Lead on introducing data uploads into the module from other companies that use different finance systems, testing and verifying the integrity of the data
- Partner with the Reporting teams to ensure that the new system provides appropriate statutory and management reporting capabilities
- Delivering test activity for the new module including financial validation of the expected results
- Supporting with the post go-live period including immediate critical care and subsequent error resolution
- Develop an understanding of the new internal operating model and supporting the Finance activities to identify and respond to change
- Supporting in the rigorous testing of the system and internal operating model changes, including the documentation of results
- Ensuring accurate financial postings, identifying any issues and actions to mitigate these
- Contributing appropriately to team meetings and project workshops to progress the Finance activities on the project
- Taking ownership of key documents and supporting with ad hoc financial analysis
To apply you will be a Qualified or “Qualified by Experience” Accountant with an understanding of system implementation. You will have previous project experience and be comfortable in a fast paced and changing environment. You will also have experience with both statutory and management accounts.
