Interim Management Accountant

Interim Management Accountant job with our Glasgow city centre client. This privately owned business are experiencing high growth and have ambitious plans for continued expansion. You will report directly into the Finance Director and be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet
• Production of annual statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Preparation of forecasts, budgets and management information for the Directors
• Purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control
• Cashflow forecasting and analysis
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Costing of projects and new commercial ventures
• Reviewing commercial reports and KPI reports
• Liaison with the bank and other key external stakeholders

To apply you will be a Qualified Accountant with a desire to work in an ambitious growing business with projected turnover of over £40m. You will have strong technical skills and interpersonal abilities. The duration is for an initial period of 6 months while the business identify the right permanent candidate (which could be the appointed Interim) Salary: up to £45,000 or equivalent daily rate.
