Interim Management Accountant

Interim Management Accountant job (Hybrid) with an established manufacturing business based in Glasgow for an initial 2-3-month period.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing month-end and year-end accounts including management accounts – full P&L, Balance Sheet & Cashflow
• Variance analysis of overheads and cost of goods sold (including gross margin)
• Preparing quarterly and annual reporting packages (internal and external)
• Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reviewing ledger entries and accounts reconciliations
• Ensuring compliance with Audit / Tax / JSOX
• Responsible for credit control
• Monitoring Trade Credit Insurance
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Ad hoc tasks as required

To apply you will be a Part Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant and have held a similar position within a manufacturing organisation. You will have good Excel skills and knowledge of ERP systems. Prior experience with JD Edwards accounting software is desirable. Salary: £40,000 p.a.
