Description
Rutherford Cross is working with an international business based in Glasgow who are looking to add a Management Accountant to their team for a fixed period of 12 months. This is an integral role within finance where you will provide support to both the Group in the UK and overseas. Key aspects of this job will include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting commentary
- Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigating into any balance sheet variances
- Transfer pricing implementation for the Group
- Assisting with monthly payroll preparation
- Assisting with year-end accounts and annual audit
- Ad hoc project work
This job will require a fully qualified accountant –CIMA/CA/ACCA with very strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to present effectively. The role is broad ranging and will have a lot of interaction with different contacts across the business. Strong system skills including Excel and preferably an ERP system would be important. The company can offer a long-term contract which could move to permanent and will provide varied experience over the year.
