Description
Rutherford Cross is working with a unique and forward thinking organisation who have a requirement to add an interim Group Financial Controller to their team for a period of around 6 months. As the key point of contact for finance, this role will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business and will involve reporting for various entities across different countries. A summary of some of the key duties are below:
- Controlling the financial reporting process for the company
- Providing analysis and interpretation of financial reports to ensure clear understanding across the business of the financial information being received
- Cashflow forecasting and strict debtor control
- Management of balance sheet and profit and loss account
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and all other reporting standards globally
- Managing process improvements across the organisation including support with the new finance system and transition to automated reporting
- Involvement with overseeing HR/IT policies and providing support to the CFO where required
This role requires a fully qualified accountant with recent experience of working in a Group Finance Controller role. The position involves a wide range of responsibilities and will require a strong leader with excellent technical skills. Experience in manufacturing and international exposure would also be highly advantageous. On offer is a challenging contract providing a senior level role with broad exposure across the business.
