Interim Financial Accountant (Hybrid)

Rutherford Cross are delighted to be supporting a key client based just outside of Glasgow with the appointment of an Interim Financial Accountant (Hybrid) for an initial 3-month period. Reporting to the Head of Financial Accounting, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of statutory financial accounts
• Asset management
• Liaise with the external auditors and internal stakeholders to obtain and assure the information relevant to the production of the external reporting outputs
• Consolidate financial results (month-end and year-end)
• All regulatory returns (e.g., VAT/statutory reporting)
• Maintain the balance sheet integrity
• Allocate overhead / process costing, calculate work-in-process
• Prepare and distribute external, regulatory reporting
• Manage chart of accounts and cost centre policy development

The Individual:

• Experience of financial accounting management within a complex environment
• Experience in applying controls and policies in a financial setting
• Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant

• Salary up to £50,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent
