Interim Financial Accountant job with our Edinburgh based client for a 12-month period. This role will report to the Financial Reporting Manager. The key accountabilities of this role are:

• Preparing, reviewing and analysing financial reports
• Supporting with the creation of management accounts
• Handling of ad hoc accounting transactions and investigating technical accounting matters
• Reviewing of financial analysis and reconciliation
• Supporting with compliance activities such as tax matters and external audit
• Supporting with the delivery of month end and year end accounts
• Ensuring existing finance processes and procedures are implemented and maintained
• Ad hoc support across the wider finance function where required

To apply you will be a Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ accountant with sound technical expertise. You will be able to manage key stakeholders as well as having the ability to prioritise and deliver to deadlines. You will be a confident decision maker and a strategic thinker. This role will begin at the start of March and supports hybrid working. Salary £40,000 - £50,000 p.a. dependant on experience.
