Interim Financial Accountant job with our Glasgow based client. This role will be for a 6 month period and will report directly to the Finance Manager.

The key responsibilities of this role are:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaising with key stakeholders to gain a better understanding of the key needs of individual areas within the business
• Quarterly UK and EU VAT Returns
• Produce monthly reporting packs and review of requested ad hoc reporting
• Liaising with the external audit team
• Supporting the annual budgeting process
• Ad hoc support to the wider Finance Team where required

To apply, you will be an experienced Accountant with good excel and systems knowledge. You will be detail oriented and have strong written and verbal communication skills. You will be comfortable taking ownership of workload and working autonomously to tight deadlines.

This role will be hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. This role will begin in May.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 p.a. dependent on experience.
