Interim Finance Manager job with our prestigious Edinburgh city centre based client for an initial 6-month period. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet
• Production of year end statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Preparation of monthly management reports
• Analysis of business performance against budgets and business plan
• Overseeing the financial transaction processing
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensuring Tax Compliance including Corporation Tax for the company and liaising with external advisors
• Preparing VAT Returns
• Supporting the implementation of new accounting software
• Supervision of a small team in finance

To apply it is essential you will be a qualified accountant, preferably CA and ideally have strong hands on Financial Accounting experience. You will be working for a highly successful Edinburgh business and will be up to date on Tax Compliance and have a practical working knowledge of VAT. Interview and start in May. It will be advantageous to have a background in Business Services or Professional Services. Day Rate equivalent of £60,000 per annum.
