Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a well-known Glasgow based organisation to appoint an Interim Finance Manager on an initial 6-month contract basis.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and reviewing Margins with supporting commentary, ensuring timely completion
• Delivering Management Accounts and financial schedules with reconciliations and analysis
• Supporting Group Management Accounts and Forecasts, providing additional analysis as needed
• Collaborating with budget holders to validate financials, update forecasts and provide challenge
• Building strong relationships with Operations, Sales and other business units
• Overseeing operational finance outputs (sales ledger, purchase ledger, banking) across the team
• Preparing accurate and timely financial information for Board, Executive and Audit meetings
• Supporting or leading key Audit & Risk Committee initiatives, including control environment reviews and governance procedures
• Building strong relationships with Operations, Sales and other business units
• Providing line management and support to finance team members, fostering development
• Leading finance-related projects and drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
• Contributing to annual budget, business plan, cash forecasting and long-term planning
• Assisting in statutory accounts preparation and audits, acting as key contact when required

The Ideal Candidate:

• CA, ACCA, CIMA (preferred)
• Leadership and team management experience (essential)
• Proven Finance Business Partnering experience in a similar role (essential)
• Available within 1-4 weeks notice

On Offer:

• Initial 6-month contract with potential to become permanent
• £55,000 p.a
