Interim Finance Manager job with our Edinburgh public sector client for a 6 month period.

Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for:

• Monthly management reporting including accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
• Supporting the preparation of year end statutory accounts
• Plan and manage on the annual financial planning for the department ensuring plans are aligned to corporate strategy
• Submission of monthly variance reports and forecasts
• Liaison with operational managers ensuring accurate reporting of forecast spend
• Train and coach non-finance colleagues

To apply you will be a ‘Qualified by Experience’ or Part Qualified Accountant experienced across the breadth of financial management including: budget setting, financial planning and financial reporting. Salary: £43,000 - £46,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent.
