Interim Finance Manager Job (Hybrid) with a Glasgow based organisation for an initial 12-month period.

Reporting directly to the Deputy CEO, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing monthly management accounts including monthly cashflow analysis and presenting these on a quarterly basis
• Preparing Annual Statutory Accounts and related support documentation in conjunction with appointed auditors and in accordance with legislative accounting requirements
• All aspects of the company’s banking arrangements, liaising with all the bankers as appropriate
• Supporting in the preparation of detailed budgets and monitor & report on performance of programmes against budget on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis
• Producing detailed capital planning and expenditure programmes for the company in conjunction with Senior Management
• Processing  the monthly payroll for the company as necessary
• Liaising on an ongoing basis with the company appointed auditors to ensure the financial systems & controls are fit for purpose and effectively support the annual external audit exercise
• Providing ongoing support to the Assistant Finance Manager & team and undertake / oversee all aspects of performance management, goal setting & appraisal

The Individual:

• Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACCA, ICAS, CIMA or ICAEW or equivalent)
• Available to begin work in July 2024
• Prior experience of people management and development

• Salary: £54,000 p.a.
