Interim Finance Manager job with a PE backed Glasgow based SME for an initial 6-month period.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing group management accounts and monthly cashflow report
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Reviewing and finalising payroll for approx. 100 staff
• Managing banking platform and approval of payments
• Supporting with management of debt collection agency
• Annual external audit
• Irrecoverable VAT calculations
• Processing invoices and payments
• Quarterly stock take
• Supervising 2 Assistant Accountants and oversight of wider finance team

To apply, you will be a Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant with prior experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant within a busy finance function. The ideal candidate will have good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication skills are key, as this role will involve direct people management of two Accountants. Good Excel knowledge is essential.
