Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a highly entrepreneurial business to recruit for an Interim Finance Manager to cover for a period of maternity. This role is expected to last 17 months and will report directly to the CEO and manage a team of accountants covering both operational finance and management accounts functions. A summary of some of the key duties are below:
- Management of operational finance processes including purchase and sales ledgers and bank reconciliations
- Overview of payroll processing for UK and foreign subsidiaries
- Preparation of Consolidated Management Accounts and KPI Data for month end reporting to parent company
- Control of Balance Sheet Reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Overall responsibility for annual budgets, reforecasts and ad-hoc requests from parent, working in conjunction with the FP&A manager
- Review and payment of all statutory returns
- Liaising with external accountants in the preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns for the various entities
- Supporting a finance team of seven
This role would be suited to a qualified accountant with experience of financial reporting, payroll and team management. Experience of reporting to a listed parent company would be advantageous. The role will be fast paced and will be supporting the business through a busy period therefore someone who is self motivated and able to handle different priorities is key.
