Interim Finance Director (Part Time)

Interim Finance Director (Part Time) job with our not for profit sector client based in Inverclyde. The role is for 3 days per week and reports directly to the Chief Executive.

You will be responsible for:

• Preparing quarterly management accounts to meet charity SORP
• Producing statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Overseeing the annual budget-setting process
• Appraising the long-term financial plan
• Liaising with the banks and preparation of reports
• Maintaining and developing internal financial controls and reviewing existing procedures
• Leading, managing and developing a small but capable finance team
• Leading on the financials of a number of key projects including potentially setting up a new subsidiary and a review of fees charged
• Play a key role in the implementation of a new management information system

To apply you will be a qualified accountant with previous experience working in a senior leadership role. You will be extremely hands-on whilst still leading too on strategic decision-making for the organisation. You will enjoy leading and developing team members and previous experience in systems implementation would be advantageous.

Salary: circa £68,000 p.a. plus benefits (pro-rata to 3 days).
