Interim Finance Director job with our SME client, based in the central belt of Scotland for a short-term contract of 3 months. This role will suit a very hands-on FD / Head of Finance.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, your main duties will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts, including profit & loss and balance sheet
• Producing monthly reports for the board
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Supervising and supporting 1 finance team member
• Hands-on support in finance processing, forecasting, budgeting, supplier payments and payroll
• Regularly interfacing and business partnering with Operations
• Supporting the annual statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Cashflow monitoring and forecasting

This role requires an experienced and extremely hands-on Finance Director / Head of Finance who is comfortable getting involved in all aspects of a small but busy finance department. This role can be worked under a hybrid model with at least 3 days per week on-site. Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 p.a. or Day Rate equivalent.
