Interim Finance Director job with our manufacturing client based in the Borders for an initial 6-month period.

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for:

• Leading, managing and developing a sizeable finance team with responsibility for preparing monthly management accounts and producing annual statutory accounts
• Working closely with the finance team to ensure requirements are met in relation to external auditors
• Providing commercial analysis to the leadership team, explaining variances from budgeted performance
• Driving ongoing improvements in processes and procedures alongside continuous development of reporting for the business
• Driving efficiencies with improvements in ERP and other systems
• Playing a key role as part of the Senior Management team

To apply, it is essential that you are a qualified accountant with a previous background in manufacturing. You will be experienced in operational and commercial finance and have a track record of driving change and improvement from previous roles.

Salary: circa £100,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent.
