Exciting interim opportunity to start asap. Working for a leading manufacturing business you will have responsibility for managing a sizeable team who are mainly responsible for transactional finance duties. A key aspect of the role will be ensuring tight controls and governance while identifying any process improvements required. Other duties will include:

• Ensuring accurate financial reporting – working to strict deadlines and ensuring timelines are met
• Assessing financial controls and processes – identifying improvements
• Ensuring monthly management accounts reporting deadlines are met
• Year end process – statutory accounts processing and audit requirements
• Managing a team – ensuring staff are trained, developed and engaged in the wider business
• Budgeting and forecasting with supporting analysis

This role is varied and will incorporate a mix of staff management, process improvements and hands on day to day financial duties ensuring on time and accurate reporting. The organisation are seeking a Qualified Accountant CA/CIMA/ACCA who has previously operated at Finance Controller level, has experience of managing teams and ideally has had exposure to a manufacturing environment.
