Rutherford Cross is delighted to be supporting a growing, private equity–backed organisation based in Stirling with the appointment of an Interim Finance Business Partner for an initial 6-month period.

This hands-on role will suit a commercially minded finance professional with strong FP&A capability, confident stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast moving environment.

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in maintaining high quality financial insight during a transitional period for the business. Key Responsibilities include:

• Updating and maintaining an established integrated financial model
• Leading the budgeting process (draft through to completion and sign-off)
• Driving forecasting, scenario planning and revenue analysis
• Interpreting sales and recruitment pipelines to inform performance outlook
• Progressing KPI reporting processes (currently spreadsheet based)
• Partnering with senior leaders, providing challenge and commercial insight

Ideal Experience

• Strong FP&A, modelling and forecasting background
• Experience across both large corporate, and smaller or scaling organisations
• Skilled business partner, comfortable challenging senior stakeholders
• Exposure to revenue analysis and KPI development
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
