Interim Director of Finance opportunity with our client based in the West of Scotland for a 6-9 month period. Reporting to the Vice Principal the main duties and responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage a large finance team of qualified and non-qualified finance professionals
• Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts for the organisation
• Produce and review the statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Lead the annual budget setting for the organisation and ongoing business partnering with department heads
• Lead the business planning process and contribute to the strategic plan for the organisation
• Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Continuous improvement in processes, systems and controls within the finance function

To apply you will be a fully qualified accountant with experience of operating at Finance Director or Head of Finance level ideally from within the Education sector. This role will support hybrid working Salary: £Highly Competitive plus benefits.
