Description
Our client, a well-known Business Services organisation based in Edinburgh is looking to add an Interim Decision Support Analyst to their team to cover a period of Maternity Leave.
Responsibilities:
Business partnering different areas and regions to provide relevant technical and financial expertise including:
- Provision of financial analysis, reporting and commentary
- Independent review and challenge of business function initiatives and proposals
- Collaboration with business partners to find entrepreneurial solutions to complex business problems
- Prepare financial presentations to Finance or Business (including site teams) on a regular basis.
- Analyse and articulate the profitability of business or capex propositions and provides constructive challenge
- Ensures business proposals comply with corporate guidance/ standards
- Complete ad hoc business analysis as required.
Candidate requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong communication skills and an ability to interact effectively with non-financial stakeholders within the business.
- Advanced Excel and ERP knowledge
- A solid understanding of commercial contracts
