Our client, a well-known Business Services organisation based in Edinburgh is looking to add an Interim Decision Support Analyst to their team to cover a period of Maternity Leave.

Responsibilities:

Business partnering different areas and regions to provide relevant technical and financial expertise including:

• Provision of financial analysis, reporting and commentary
• Independent review and challenge of business function initiatives and proposals
• Collaboration with business partners to find entrepreneurial solutions to complex business problems
• Prepare financial presentations to Finance or Business (including site teams) on a regular basis.
• Analyse and articulate the profitability of business or capex propositions and provides constructive challenge
• Ensures business proposals comply with corporate guidance/ standards
• Complete ad hoc business analysis as required.

Candidate requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong communication skills and an ability to interact effectively with non-financial stakeholders within the business.
• Advanced Excel and ERP knowledge
• A solid understanding of commercial contracts
