Interim Commercial Finance Analyst role with our Dundee-based client. This role will be for an initial 6-month period reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager. This role will partner with the commercial, operational and function team in order to support the wider business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing the Power BI analytical tools across the organisation for both regular reporting and specific initiatives
• Working with each team to design and introduce KPI dashboard reporting
• Evaluating financial performance of business projects or initiatives beforehand, supporting with the development of business cases, evaluating and mitigating risk
• Providing post-evaluation analysis on projects to ensure performance widely understood with key lessons being fed back to the business for future projects
• Supporting with the input to budgeting and forecasting process. Work with the FP&A team alongside the wider business to implement rolling monthly forecasting process
• Ad hoc support to the wider finance team where needed

To apply you will be a Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant with commercial knowledge and the ability to analyse complex data sets, identifying key messages and communicating outputs.

You will be proficient in the use of excel and have good modelling knowledge. Strong written and verbal communication skills are key to this role, as well as being comfortable liaising with financial and non-financial stakeholders.

This role will support hybrid working with circa. 2 days a week in the office. Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 p.a. dependent on experience.
