Description

Interim Assistant Accountant job (Hybrid) with a high-growth FMCG business based in Stirling for a 6-month period.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Accurate and timely input of information which is essential to the company’s payment processes and to the monthly reporting of results to the business
  • Ensuring all transactions are appropriately authorised and approved
  • Timely posting and clearing of the AP bank accounts
  • Timely checking and accurate processing of invoices and payments
  • Daily bank reconciliation, such as clearing and posting all entries to ensure no control breaks
  • Timely posting of automated payments
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, demonstrating your proficiency in taxation matters
  • Supporting with month-end balance sheet reconciliations within month-end close deadlines
  • Other ad hoc tasks / projects as required

To apply, you will have a background in transactional finance, working within a similar role or specialising in Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable. Good Excel skills are key for this role and working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous. This role supports a hybrid working model with only 3 days required on-site. Salary: Up to £30,000 p.a. (DOE).
