Description
Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a global manufacturing business to appoint a Group Financial Reporting Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified CA to play a key role in a large-scale international group accounting function, with great scope for career development.
Duties Involve:
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting statements for the Group and its subsidiaries and analysis for both
- Manage the centralised accounting processes including payroll, overheads, fixed assets, ROU and Intercompany
- Deliver UK statutory accounts and supervise overseas statutory audits and financial statements
- Manage day-to-day interactions and information requests for both internal and external audit cycles escalating to the Head of Financial Reporting as required, as well as any other internal or external queries that may arise
- Collaborate with parent company and other members of finance team on the preparation of accounting technical papers and development of policies
- Work with Control Process Owners to implement control improvements in response to internal and external audit findings
- Ad hoc projects and tasks as requested by the Head of Financial Reporting and Group Director, Internal Accounting
Candidate Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant with at least 2yrs post qualifying experience (ICAS / ICAEW / ACCA)
- Hands-on experience in auditing, IFRS financial statements preparation and financial controls in a listed / large multi-site corporate environment
- Strong people management experience and the ability to manage upwards and with other departments
- Confident communicator who can build relationships across all business functions. This role will require interaction with multiple teams both within the UK and overseas
- Advanced Excel skills
- Problem-solving mentality and ability to carry out complex analysis from a variety of sources
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Proven ability to manage large-scale projects / engagements to ensure deadlines are met
On Offer:
- Salary £50-£70k
- Hybrid working 2 days per week in the office
- Working hours 37 per week, with lunchtime finish on Fridays
