Description

Rutherford Cross is pleased to be exclusively partnered with a global PE-backed manufacturing business to appoint the newly created position of Global Operational Finance Analyst. This represents an exceptional opportunity to join an elite finance function in a varied and analytically focused operational finance role. Reporting to a highly tenured finance leader, you will be at the forefront of driving financial performance and strategy on a global scale. Our client offers significant flexibility, a fantastic working culture, and a generous package.

Ideally, we are looking to engage with newly / recently qualified first movers from the Big 4, although we are happy to consider those in mid-tier firms as well. Any audit experience in manufacturing / engineering / consumer goods would be highly advantageous. We will be considering pro-active and dynamic individuals for this opportunity given the global reach of the role and the variety of relationships you will manage.

As the Global Operational Finance Analyst, your primary responsibility is to support the financial forecasting, planning, and analysis (FP&A), as well as operational finance controlling processes. You will play a key role in driving financial performance and strategy, leading process improvement initiatives, participating in ad hoc projects, and contributing to the overall responsibilities of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage global consolidated management reporting processes, providing proactive, in-depth insight and analysis. This includes monthly results to the corporate team, weekly and quarterly forecasts, and support for annual budget and strategic planning processes
  • Support senior management in executing business development, strategy, and results. This involves managing FP&A processes, providing ad-hoc reports, insights, and analysis, as well as coordinating assigned projects with a wide range of commercial and operational experiences
  • Partner with regional divisions and other global functions to ensure standard reporting and analysis across the business. Build partnerships with stakeholders, understand their goals, and leverage the expertise of the finance team to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring compliance with group reporting requirements, policies, and procedures
  • Support the finance function in various areas, including external reporting processes, fostering a positive culture, integration activities for new acquisitions, and initiatives to enhance financial reporting capability within the Shared Service Centre
