Financial Controller

Permanent Financial Controller job with our client based in the South of Scotland. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet accounts
• Production of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Leadership, management and development of the Finance team
• Finance Business Partnering to Senior Management advising on Budgets, Projects and overall Decision Support
• Preparing and presenting reports to Senior Management
• Ongoing improvements to processes and procedures and development of reporting tools
• Advising on Corporation Tax and VAT
• Liaison with Banks and other external partners

To apply you will be a Qualified Accountant, preferably CA, with previous experience of a Finance Managers position. You will have a track record of managing and developing finance teams, project management experience and have first class communication skills able to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
