Description
Group Financial Accountant job with a growing manufacturing business for an initial 6 month contract based in Livingston. This is a hands on role supporting the Group Financial Controller, with responsibility for group reporting, consolidations, financial controls and statutory reporting across multiple entities. The position requires 4 days per week on-site and would suit an experienced accountant with strong group finance experience.
Responsibilities and Experience
- Qualified Accountant
- Proven experience within a Group Finance or Group Reporting environment
- Prepare monthly group consolidations, reporting packs and consolidation journals
- Review submissions from multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial information
- Drive strong balance sheet control and governance across the group
- Support statutory accounts preparation, audit delivery and compliance activities
- Oversee intercompany reconciliations and resolve accounting differences across entities
- Support budgeting, forecasting and wider finance transformation initiatives
- Experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment with multiple stakeholders
To apply, you will be a qualified accountant with previous group reporting and consolidation experience, ideally gained within a manufacturing environment. You will be comfortable working on-site, building relationships across the business and delivering accurate, timely financial information to senior stakeholders.

Salary: £55k or day rate equivalent
