This role offers a high degree of remote working and is the ideal opportunity for a qualified accountant who is looking to make a move to develop/improve upon their existing managerial experience.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

• Providing leadership and line management to the Analyst team to deliver the management accounting function
• Leading the day-to-day management of the team including the allocation of tasks and resources, planning, recruitment, performance review and management, and training
• Monitoring and reviewing financial information and contributing to the preparation of financial reports and plans to support the successful delivery of strategic and operational objectives
• Fulfilling the role of a  Technical Accounting “knowledge expert” to the Analyst team and budget holders
• Maintaining relationships between the Analysts, the directorates, Finance Managers, and relevant Finance Business Partners to ensure effective communication to support robust reporting of the financial performance
• Leading the Analyst team to support the budget-setting process and the production of the Annual Accounts

To be successful in this role you will be:

• A qualified accountant from a recognised governing body (ICAS/CIMA/ACCA or Equivalent)
• Have robust experience in the preparation and delivery of management accounts
• Have experience in line management and leading a team
