This newly created position will support the established finance function while also overseeing key aspects of logistics and operations, including inventory control, warehouse management, and freight procurement. This role offers exposure to a broad range of responsibilities, providing valuable insight into the overall operations of the business and enabling meaningful contributions across multiple areas.

Duties include:

• Assist with Group reporting – monthly sales report, monthly reporting pack and others
• Assist with forecasting
• Daily banking – post payments and receipts & bank recs
• Post purchase invoices
• Check duty calculations and reconcile to HMRC statement
• Credit card statements – obtain receipts and authorisation for all monthly statements
• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations – trade debtors, trade creditors, sundry debtors, sundry creditors, Prepayments, Accruals, Duty creditor
• Prepare and process journals for management accounts
• Deal with customer queries – debit notes and POD’s
• Credit control - chase overdue customer invoices
• Prepare the required schedules and all requested further information to auditors in respect of the Year End audit
• Complete VAT returns
