The purpose of this newly created role is required to ensure effective day-to-day finance operations and to design and implement fundamental Finance processes and systems. The role is designed to drive improvements in finance capabilities and ultimately contribute to business growth.

Some of the main responsibilities include:

• Routine finance activities such as invoicing and payroll
• Producing and reporting forecasts, budgets and monthly management accounts and other related reports to support business decisions
• Analysing financial performance to drive commercialisation
• Driving compliance with legal requirements, regulated reports and audits

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a Qualified Chartered Accountant
• Have at least 5 years’ post qualified experience in a similar role
• Have proven experience in managing stakeholders and influencing business critical decisions
• Have a commercial focus and understand the impact of financial performance
• Be engaging and passionate about the role and organisation
• Have at least 2 years experience within 3rd sector finance
