Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a leading private equity investor, currently seeking a Finance Manager to join the team. Working closely with the head of finance, this role will support the wider business as they continue to invest globally, act as a bridge between finance and senior stakeholders, as well as take ownership of a range of key responsibilities.

Key duties include:

• Preparation of year-end accounts for the group using various systems
• Preparation statutory accounts information for presentation to and liaison with auditors
• Responsible for the review of corporation tax work
• Preparation of VAT returns, including a group, partial exemption return
• Day to day cashflow management and payments
• Liaise with bank including bi-annual reporting requirements
• Data gathering & interpretation
• Carry out ad-hoc duties
• Work in a hands-on environment

Experience required:

• Qualified (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or be qualified by experience
• Knowledge of working within a small to medium sized business with the ability to work on a range of duties simultaneously
• Capable of managing demands from a range of stakeholders
• Ability to prepare VAT returns
• Work well within a team
