Finance Manager

Salary £45-50K

Our client is a well-respected market leader in their field who currently have an exciting opportunity for a robust Finance Manager to join their team.  Based within their offices located in Fife and reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the financial accounting and reporting function.

As a Finance Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Maintain and coordinate the Fixed Asset Register and all Capital Expenditure
• Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet Control accounts
• Review all Balance Sheet provisions
• Adhere to monthly and annual Financial Reporting requirements
• Review and forecast the moving Free Cash Flow position making sure that Group cash targets are met
• Communicating with Group Treasury to ensure that forward Foreign Exchange requirement are covered
• Follow company compliance including the Groups internal controls policy, external regulatory reporting requirements and Employee's delegated authority
• Produce Annual Accounts and Annual returns for sign off and submissions to companies house
• Responsible for business planning and forecasting which will include supporting the annual budget
• Management of all external Grant Funding
• Acting as key point of contact for HMRC, HMG Agencies, bankers and stakeholders
• Assisting with Team development
• Ad hoc tasks when required including Pension Scheme control, Company Credit Cards, Contracts Database and Corporate Accounting policies

To be considered for this position you must have the following attributes:

• Qualified CA, ACCA or CIMA
• Effective communicator - Written and verbal
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with people on all levels
• Well organised, motivated and enthusiastic individual
• Excellent Analytical skills
• Strong knowledge and understanding of UK and International Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards
• Advanced Excel and SAP would be advantageous
