Finance Manager
Rutherford Cross are currently working with a large organisation based in Glasgow to recruit a Finance Manager with extensive team management experience.
The Opportunity
The Finance Manager will provide strategic leadership and direction within the department leading an extensive team and will be responsible for the strategy and development of the function. This is a great opportunity to join the business with future career potential.
You will Lead strategic improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of both the Finance Operations processes and controls but also the end to end processes that these support.
This includes effective metrics reporting, process mapping and responsibility definition and reinforcement and system development.
The Candidate:
To succeed in this role the candidate will have extensive team management experience of ideally over 15 reports.
The candidate will be expected to demonstrate their ability to think strategically and independently. The ability to influence across a range of stakeholders
Skills and experience required include:
- Professionally qualified accountant (e.g. CA, ACCA, ACMA) or experienced finance professional
- Proactive and solution focused
- Strong organisation skills with structured and systematic approach to delivering solutions
- Experience of managing a team of people
- Technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent IT and system skills
Remuneration:
In addition to a salary of £55,000- £65,000 per annum (depending on experience) there are a number of benefits including a generous pension, holidays and private healthcare.
