Rutherford Cross has been engaged to recruit a Finance Manager for a well-established FMCG organisation based in Glasgow. This a great opportunity to join a sector which has been pivotal to the Scottish economy as well as offer the successful candidate an opportunity to manage a significant sized finance team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strong leadership in order to manage a team
- Oversee accounts payable, cashbook/treasury, payroll and general ledger
- Annual & half yearly statutory accounts preparation
- Management of company weekly & monthly payroll
- VAT & statutory returns
- Ensuring all balance sheet accounts are managed and reconciled
- Assistance with internal and external audit processes
- Participate with system implementation
- Improve efficiency of processes within areas of responsibility
The Candidate:
The position requires a confident individual with a strong interpersonal ability and the capability to adjust to various environments. It is essential that the individual will be a professionally qualified and likely that they will possess 0-3 post qualification experience. The qualification can be from any recognised professional body (i.e. CA, ACCA or ACMA).
Remuneration:
A salary of around £45,000 (depending on experience).
