Finance Manager

Rutherford Cross – Edinburgh

Rutherford Cross are delighted to be working alongside a top employer based in Edinburgh City Centre. This role would be suitable for a driven individual looking to make a mark on their career as a first or second move from practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Management and Statutory Accounts.
• Attendance and presentation at board meetings.
• Preparation for annual budgets for the individual companies and group.
• Coordinating the annual audit with the external auditors.
• Liaising with tax advisors on corporate tax compliance and VAT.
• Preparing corporation tax computations for review by external advisors.
• Preparation of technical accounting papers on key accounting issues and judgements.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant
• Previous experience in professional practice or a similar role in industry
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills
