Description

Rutherford Cross is excited to be working with a high growth technology company based in Edinburgh, currently seeking a Finance Manager to join their team.

The Finance Manager will play an active role in all aspects of financial management, including ledger management, detailed analysis and strategic planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing budgets ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing recommendations to support the company's financial health and growth.

Key Duties Include:

  • Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
  • Develop, manage, and monitor budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Management of the purchase ledger and payment runs
  • Oversee cash flow planning and assisting with preparation of annual budgets and funding requirements
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s objectives

Experience Required:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS) or equivalent
  • Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong understanding of UK financial regulations and standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Proactive in addressing hands-on priority tasks when needed
